Bubbles

When you blow a bubble,
Have you ever wondered why it shines?
Its colorful coat is so bright and lovely,
But it can hurt your eyes, oh so unkind.

In my eyes, bubbles are gray,
Beautiful yet hiding pain away.
They dance and float, drifting away.
Keep them at a distance,
It is the safest way to stay.
